Launching on April 20, 2012, Voyager Adventures will take center stage at SM City Davao Annex Event Center.

Voyager Adventures is an educational events program using state-of-the-art Voyager Planetarium, an entertaining audio-visual educational tool which can display the latest comets, accurate meteor showers, and recent photographs of planets taken by space missions. This digital technology uses lights projected onto the surface of a dome to simulate the stars, moon, planets, and other interesting space objects.

Jonell Damuy, Manager of Voyager Educational and Event Services, said that Voyager Planetarium is the first and only digital mobile Planetarium in Mindanao.

Aside from the Voyager Planetarium, the general public will have an excellent and exciting viewing opportunity to do solar observation, stargazing and planetary observation in SM Grounds.

This event, in celebration of the Global Astronomy Month also conducts film showing, games and quizzes customized for the participant’s level.

“This is all about Astronomy,” said Rodion Herrera, Head Astronomer of Voyager Educational and Event Services.
